Diary objects

Imagine written texts used as pieces of furniture like closets, tables, or doors. They are places you meet people or places to pass through, possibly on the boundaries between public and private life. A book as a door. Imagine entering a company through pages of personal notes – how’s that for an open and warm welcome?

The Diary table offers users a chance to draw sketches or make quick calculations onto the table’s surface during meetings or get-togethers. Everything that goes on at the table will be revealed among the coffee stains. The pages will be symbolic of the activity in that space, and once all pages have been used… the table folds in half to reveal the book cover, of course!
